Material & Maintenance

Material & Maintenance

The following applies to every product: take care of it with love and you can enjoy it for longer.

Our jewelry is made from different types of materials. We will give you more information about the materials and how to keep it beautiful for as long as possible.

Stainless steel
All stainless steel jewelry, also called stainless steel jewelry, is durable and of high quality. The advantage of stainless steel is that, when used carefully, it retains its color for a long time. Be extra careful with chlorine, because chlorine attacks the protective layer of the stainless steel. In addition, Stainless Steel is allergy free!

Glass beads / seed beads
The glass beads, also called seed beads, that we use for our jewelry are of high quality. They can withstand knocks and perspiration, but to prevent discoloration we recommend not showering or swimming with them. The gold and silver colored beads contain a layer of gold/silver plating. Over time, the plating can wear off and the clear glass bead beneath the layer becomes visible. This process is accelerated by contact with water and contact with creams and perfume.

Metal, Brass, Brass
All our metal jewelry is nickel free. This material has a layer of gold or silver on it. This layer can discolor, wear or fade, how quickly your jewelry will discolor depends on the PH value of your skin and the care of your jewelry.

925 Sterling Silver
consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper or another metal. This other metal is added for strength. A disadvantage of 925 sterling silver is that it can discolour due to weather influences and the PH value of your skin. This may cause your jewelry to discolour or turn black. No worries! By using silver polish you can make your jewelry nice and shiny again.
